Lisa's motto is to Live life to the full, to get out there and live your adventures.

After having already competed internationally in extreme endurance races for the past 13 years, Lisa became the first New Zealand woman and fastest ever New Zealander to complete the legendary Bad-water (Death Valley) ultra marathon in 2008, widely regarded as the toughest footrace on earth. This is a 217km non stop race through the hottest desert on earth. The race pits 90 of the world’s best ultra athletes against each other and the elements. The event is regarded as the unofficial world championships of ultra running.

Exploring China over the past few years has been a great adventure. I set up Travel-the-Real-China, which allows me to go of an experience this amazing county and its people.
 
Over the past few years I have acquired much personal experience in taking advantage of the sporting opportunities of this country.

Adventures like driving across the Taklimakan desert on a motorbike back in 2006, the challenging 250km foot race of the 2007 Gobi March and now managing a team of 24 to do the 2010 Gobi March ….
